Photo manipulation is one of the most favorite ways to create something that isn’t, and make it look like it has been for a long time. Today we’ll take a closer look at the work of Sarah DeRemer.
Sarah DeRemer, originally from Los Angeles, earned her bachelor degree in studio art, and for some time she has worked as a veterinary technician. In 2012 she moved to Seoul to teach English, which was also the time in which she started to experiment with digital photo manipulation. In her work you can find many different motives – ranging from animals, through humans to landscapes. But what connects them all together is the imagination of the author. Sarah creates dream like worlds, that mostly dwell in you sub consciousness. They are hard to describe, so you better see them for yourselves. Oh, btw if you would be interested, do not miss her portfolio, she also does balloon animals:)
